Download LookDisk free software to search for text in files

LookDisk is a free software (in English) which allows to search files and within them (text), as well as for duplicate with specific settings files.

It is able to search for text in files, even if they are inside a archive (ZIP, CAB, ARJ, RAR, LZH, 7-Zip, TAR, GZIP (*.gzip, *.gz. ** .z)) and display the occupation of the disk (size and free space). The result of the research can be saved or printed.

Features:
-Duplicate file search (by name or content)
-Search for files using different parameters (size of file, date, attributes)
-Search for a text in a file (also in PDF files)
-Displays a preview of the disc (total size, free space)
-All search functions support the following types of archives: ZIP, CAB, ARJ, RAR, LZH, 7-Zip, TAR, GZIP (**.)Gzip, *.Gz..(Z)

LookDisk is available in installable version and portableversion. It works in Windows XP, Vista and 7.

NB: be careful when installing this software which can propose adding unnecessary components (toolbar).
